Het Corona virus is nu ook in Nederland geconstateerd. Dat verbaast me niks. (The Corona virus has now also been detected in the Netherlands. That doesn't surprise me.)

Een voordeel van thuiswerken is dat je je eigen tijd kunt indelen (en je eigen koffie kunt maken). (An advantage of working from home is that you can organize your own time/schedule (and make your own coffee).)

Veel mensen vinden het een slecht idee dat de Formule 1 teams over het strand mogen rijden om files te vermijden. (Many people think it is a bad idea that Formula 1 teams are allowed to drive on the beach to avoid traffic jams.)

Ik probeer genoeg te slapen, anders ben ik 's ochtends niet fit. (I try to sleep enough, otherwise I'm not fit in the morning.)

Ik zag heel veel vrachtwagens onderweg in Duitsland. (I saw a lot of trucks on the way in Germany.)

Morgen ga ik naar Zürich met de auto. Dat is best wel een lange rit. (I will go to Zurich by car tomorrow. That is quite a long drive.)

Ik hoop niet dat er woensdag weer verkeershinder ontstaat door de protesterende boeren. (I hope that the protesting farmers will not cause traffic problems again on Wednesday.)

Het zal je maar gebeuren . Zit je op een cruiseschip en mag je er niet af! (Just imagine something like that happening to you. You are on a cruiseship and you are not allowed to leave.)

De bruiloft in Kolkata is achter de rug en we zijn weer terug in Amsterdam. (The wedding in Kolkata is over and we are back in Amsterdam.)
