Heb je het Panorama Mesdag al wel eens gezien? Dat is toch zo leuk! (Have you ever seen the Panorama Mesdag? That is so nice!)

Morgen hoef ik niet vroeg op te staan. (I don't have to get up early tomorrow.)

De ochtendspits viel mee, dankzij onder andere 28 verkeersregelaars, 1000 kegels, 2000 hekken en heel veel fietsers. En de IJtunnel was open voor fietsverkeer. (The morning rush was not too bad, thanks to, among other things, 28 traffic controllers, 1000 cones, 2000 fences and many cyclists. And the IJtunnel was open for bicycle traffic.)

Geen openbaar vervoer. Wat een gedoe. (No public transportation. What a hassle.)

Ik heb in het weekend in Drenthe gewandeld. Ik heb schapen gezien. (I walked in Drenthe at the weekend. I have seen sheep.)

Het is verstandig om niet te roken, geen alcohol te drinken en geen drugs te gebruiken. (It is wise not to smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs.)

In welk jaar was ook alweer de orkaan Katrina? Ik weet het niet meer. (In which year was Hurricane Katrina again? I don't remember.)

Een swapfiets kost 15 euro per maand. Je kunt hem herkennen aan de blauwe voorband. (A swap bike costs 15 euros per month. You can recognize it by the blue front tire.)

Het volgende Songfestival zal in Nederland worden gehouden. (The next Songfestival will be held in the Netherlands.)

Ik hou me niet altijd aan het boodschappenlijstje als ik boodschappen doe. (I don't always stick to the shopping list when I do my grocery shopping.)

Ik luister graag naar muziek. Maar ik maak liever zelf muziek. Het liefst speel ik piano. (I like to listen to music. But I prefer to make music myself. I prefer to play the piano.)

Vandaag heb ik eindelijk mijn rijbewijs kunnen ophalen. (I finally got my driver's license today.)
